Tasting Notes

With close to 600 hectacres coming from 5 vineyards, Casa de Arrochella is part of the new generation of wine and olive oil producers in Douro behind the mountains.

This wine has a wonderful, classic, rich bouquet of green olives and red currants. On the palate, a heavy full bodied wine with complexity and depth shows up. Strawberry and sweet cranberry dominate the mid-palate that follows into a dry tannic finish.
