Tasting Notes

Monte da Penha is a family property located near Portalegre, the capital of North Alentejo.

The family has been involved in the production of high quality wines since the beginning of the century, when Joaquin da Cruz Baptista founded the wine “Tapada do Chaves”. Monte Da Penha wines are elegant, intensely fruity, with a well balanced alcohol and acidity typical of the wines of Portalegre.
